Soccer Moms Rule | Fort Worth Boudoir Studio
Posted on April 24, 2009
So I’m not sure if L is a true soccer mom, actually I don’t think she is, but she’s a mom with two girls and emailed me about my Soccer Mom sessions. I knew she was perfect when she said to me that she’s a no frills kind of girl.
I had her come to the studio without any makeup on and in normal clothing. I wanted to do a before and after shot so I could highlight how important it is to do your makeup properly. L’s makeup was done by our fabulous Holly, she’s the woman I suggest everyone use for their session make-up, but if you’re not able to use her at least try to have yours professionally done. It really makes a huge difference.

L started off a little nervous, most clients are, but we talked a lot about her family and her husband and her work and eventually I started to see some of those smiles I was waiting for.

I’ve heard people tell me that I ‘make’ people beautiful. No, that’s not right. I don’t make anything other than art. What I do is simply find the beauty that each woman has. Those expressions or looks or smiles. The ones we don’t even know we have, which make us unique and beautiful. I see myself as a filter, I focus on just a few things at a time, and ignore the rest of the noise.
I like being that filter. I like being able to show women how they really look. Their true beauty, without the rest of the noise.

L, thank you so much for coming in to do the session with me. I had a great time and loved all your ideas and thoughts. I can’t wait to get your gallery loaded for you.

Hot like Fire | Boutique Dallas Boudoir Photography Studio
Posted on April 23, 2009
It must be exciting to have a fireman as your husband. Ladies, think of all those damsel in distress fantasies he could make true.
So, I was ecstatic when miss A pulled out her man’s work gear for us to work with. We had SUCH a great time, so much conversation, and lots of talk about quick engagements and just knowing when it’s right. I love love stories.

A few quick notes -
I had a last minute cancellation THIS Saturday due to some family issues. Email me if you’d be interested in the session.
Also, we are moving into the new studio in May and as such our rates will be changing. You MUST book your session before May 1st in order to lock in the current rates. Don’t wait …

Twice as Nice | Female Boudoir Photographer Dallas Texas
Posted on April 16, 2009
You know when you get laughing about something and you can’t stop and your sides hurt and you’re doubled over almost in pain but you still can’t stop laughing? That’s what this session reminded me of. S & J are best friends from high school who came in to do sessions together. Normally I’m wary about having people in the room during the session, I honestly find it easier to get people to relax and trust me with the posing if they’re not distracted by a friend talking to them. This session was much different. The two friends really knew how to get the other to relax and show off a genuine smile. And the Ipod soundtrack they made for the session was perfect. I might have to steal it.
Thanks so much ladies for the amazing time! I really loved working with you two and I hope you’ll both be back again soon!

Don’t forget about our May Mini sessions! Check out the post below this one for more details.

May Minis | Dallas Boudoir Photography Studio
Posted on April 13, 2009
This is some very exciting news.
Noire Belle is moving to a new studio!
The new studio is an amazing find for us, a perfect upgrade with tons of options for our clients.
To celebrate, I have decided to offer our first ever “mini session” event on Saturday May 16th.
These mini sessions will be perfect for someone who is in a rush, on a budget, or just wants a small album instead of an expansive art book or multiple outfit changes. They are also coming at the perfect time to get the images back for Father’s Day in June, so ladies, think of this as a great way to give your man a very special gift this Father’s Day. Forget the power tools, grab your red high heels and push up bra and thank him properly for all his help over the years.
Our mini sessions will be 45 minutes long, with one outfit allowed. They will have 15 proofs posted in an online gallery for you to choose from, they also come with one 5×7 art print (perfect to slip into his card) and either a 5×5 brocade album OR a $125 credit towards prints or other album options. Mini sessions are $275 and must be paid in full before the session date with $150 due upon booking and $105 due two weeks before the scheduled date.
You may also purchase the digital files from the session at a reduced rate of $55 each, 10 for $350 or all 15 for $475.
Times Available :

Bunny Hunny | DFW Boudoir Photography
Posted on April 12, 2009
Sorry, couldn’t resist. It’s Easter and I’ve been surrounded by chocolate bunny rabbits and eggs for the last 12+ hours, it’s funny to me.
Miss D and I got together on Friday for her session and, of course, chatted about her kids (three of the bless her heart!) and her husband and his occasional work travels. I know she’s so excited about seeing these and I’m excited to upload her gallery for her this week. D is so sweet and kind and had THE most fantastic hair ever. I’ve been wanting a client with hair long enough to cover up the “ladies” for awhile and was so excited when D said she really wanted to have a couple shots like that done. Yay me for having the best clients ever who are creative and come with an agenda for images they’d like to have.

Sneak Peek – Plano Dallas Boudoir Photographer
Posted on April 11, 2009
Last week I had the honor of spending the day with three friends who came in together for a hotel session. We had a blast together, talking and laughing and even listening to sexy English accents over speaker phone. That’s just a taste of the trouble you might get into when you’re with me.
I’m almost ready to be uploading their galleries but wanted to give them a quick sneak peek to hold everyone over for a few more days. I know how hard it is to stay patient.
Thank you ladies for a WONDERFUL day. I’m so sorry for any bruising
but I promise it will be worth it!

* Note -
Upcoming hotel sessions are almost booked. May 23rd has one time slot available and June 13th booked up so quickly I’ve opted to add another on June 20th with only two time slots available still.

Sneak Peek | Fort Worth Boudoir Intimate Photography
Posted on April 5, 2009
Had a session on Friday with the gorgeous J. These are going to be a wedding gift for her husband on their wedding night and I know he is going to love them.

Spent Saturday at a hotel session with three wonderful women who came in all the way from OK to see me. I’m so flattered! Be sure to look for their sneak peek later this coming week.
Also, April is very nearly booked up. Just a heads up.
