{ Second Chances } Fort Worth Boudoir Photography

Posted on August 30, 2009

Sometimes you meet someone that you could sit down and talk to for hours trading stories and feeling right at home. That’s how it was with Mrs A. Within minutes of getting together we were gabbing about our men and kids like we’d been life long friends. A had been thinking of doing a boudoir session for three years and finally scheduled her session to be a birthday gift to her husband. I love it.

I know he’s going to love it, too.

Boudoir makes a perfect gift for any occasion. In fact, if you really want to knock his socks off, why not think about doing it for no reason at all. ;-)

In other news … My Fiance and I are finally getting married in two weeks (Yay!) and as so many of you know, there is always a last minute thing or two that pops up along the way when you’re planning a wedding. So… I’m offering a super special sale for all my readers here for the holiday season. A full studio session, 45 image gallery, and a CD of your images for a flat $595. This is a super special deal for a very short amount of time so do NOT let this pass you up. Spread the word far and wide to all your friends. This comes at a perfect time to schedule a session and have everything back in plenty of time to make an album for the Holidays. :-D

This has been a crazy summer on so many accounts.

Noire Belle went on the road this summer for two trips to Michigan for boudoir photography tour dates and had a blast! (BTW, we’re looking to schedule another trip to Michigan in October for all of you interested in holiday or Valentine boudoir sessions, email for more info!)

And then while out of town there was this little issue with the post office not delivering any of my mail for three weeks. An issue I am STILL fighting with them about, so those of you who mailed in deposits and had them returned, please send me the returned envelopes if you still have them, I need to “prove” my mail was not being delivered.

And now after such a long whilrwind I’m sooooooooooooooooo behind on blogging, I actually gave up on sneak peeks for awhile I couldn’t keep up. It is nice to be home, in a routine, with daycare ;-) .

So back to our regular program here… Gotta love these gorgeous boudoir portraits of the stunning miss B. I swear she looks like she could be Jennifer Aniston’s sister. I think it’s the face shape. Yes? No?

Take a guess at what I was lucky enough to do today …

Well, it wasn’t exactly your typical boudoir session.

I was finally able to do J’s couples boudoir session. J had initially contacted me a year ago about doing this, and we FINALLY managed to get a date on the calendar and stick to it after months of having things come up.

When J got to the studio and showed me the outfits she’d planned for her and B I was so excited. I dont know how she managed to pull it off but everything they wore looked like it’d been planned by a professional stylist.

I know some of you may be thinking this is a little weird. To be honest I remember when I had mixed feelings about doing a couples boudoir session. But couples sessions are so unique and amazing. Seeing the chemistry between the two people. Being able to capture a bit of that passion, that lustful energy between a husband and wife (or soon to be…) is such an inspiring experience. I love being able to create art from love. I love being able to tell the story of a couple’s romance, to show off the personality of their relationship, to be trusted enough to be invited to view those intimate moments between a man and woman is completely humbling.

J & B – Thank you for a fantastic day. I hope you guys were able to have half as much fun as I did.

Stay tuned for an official announcement soon about our new couples boudoir offerings. If you’re as impatient as I am, feel free to email me sarah(a)noirebellestudio.com and I can let you in on the secret before I post it to the blog. ;-)
